Too many Americans pay lip service to supporting democracy but have little clue about what it is, what it does and how it functions in America.

This blog will cover the basics of democracy. If you already know most of what we will write about, that’s good. But a little review can’t hurt.

If you need a refresher course on democracy as a concept and how it has, is and likely will play out in the United States, this is written for you.

In the coming weeks, we will try to come up with some basic definitions of democracy and examine how it is working in the U.S.A today.
